Chief Jan Bowsher
Chief Bowsher joined the Pawnee Police Department on August 1, 1991. She progressed through the ranks and was appointed Acting Chief on August 20, 1996 and officially appointed Chief of Police on January 11, 1997. She holds an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement.
Officer David Bentley
Officer Bentley has been employed with the Village of Pawnee where he now holds the rank of Senior Officer. He has also served as the Fire Arms Instructor.
He is married to wife, Marcia and they are parents to Breanne and Brian. On his off time, he enjoys spending time with his three grandchildren.
Officer Eric Bertoni
Officer Bertoni grew up in Springfield and graduated from Lanphier High School in 1990. He married his wife, Jennifer, in September of 1991 and they are parents to Kendra, Meghan and Zachary.
He joined the Illinois National Guard in 1998 as a Military Police Officer. In September of 2000, he was hired by the Pawnee Police Department. He served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom as well as Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003.
Officer Shawn Burnley
Officer Burnley grew up in Morris, IL. He relocated to Pawnee after attending Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, IL. Officer Burnley, his wife, Cara, and their son Mason love the small town atmosphere offered by Pawnee.
He has been a full-time Police Officer in Pawnee since 1999. He serves as a Juvenile Officer, Bicycle Officer, and Traffic Safety Officer. He is also a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician as well as a licensed EMT and CPR Instructor.
Officer Darrek Galloway
Officer Galloway was born and raised in Pawnee. Darrek joined the department in 2004. In his off time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Miranda and all of their children. He also deer hunts and motorcycle rides.
Officer Mike Stuart
Officer Stuart has been a part-time Police Officer in Pawnee since 1996. He also works full-time as a Police Sergeant at the University of Illinois at Springfield Police Department. Prior, he spent 10 years in the United States Marine Corps and served in Desert Storm. He and his wife, Colleen are parents to Amy and Chris. They enjoy life in Pawnee.
Officer Barclay Harris
Officer Harris has been a Police Officer since 1995 and started working with Pawnee in 1996. He grew up in Pawnee and enjoys serving the community. He is now the Fire Arms and Taser Instructor for the Department. He served in the Illinois Army National Guard for 11 years.
On his off time, he enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.
