The IVY Collective
By Cindy Ladage
Cold Iron Bodybuilding in Pawnee on Route 104 has a new partner for fitness. Maddie Butcher and her mother Jennifer Lambert are a mother-daughter nurse-owned wellness and aesthetics business. “My mom and I built this business together from the ground up. We’re both registered nurses, and at the heart of everything we do is the same
mindset we’ve always had in healthcare: people deserve safe, compassionate care that’s accessible.”
With this model in mind, they started The IVy Collective. “We wanted to create a space where preventative wellness and aesthetics don’t feel intimidating or out of reach.”
Another goal was to stay affordable for the average income. “A lot of med spas are priced so high that most people never get to benefit from the services, and that never sat right with us. Our goal was to offer high-quality, medically guided services at a price point that makes it realistic for everyday people. Because we’re family, our approach is
very personal. We take the time to educate our clients, explain why we recommend certain services, and make sure they feel comfortable and heard. The IVy Collective isn’t just about treatments; it’s about trust, community, and helping people feel good in their bodies without breaking the bank.
What does The IVy Collective offer? They offer IV drips, GLP-1 (weight loss), peptides, energy and immune-boosting vitamins, recovery and performance support, assistance with migraine and inflammation relief, as well as glow/skin support, and hangover or travel recovery.
Maddie added, “We also provide individual vitamin injections like B12, vitamin D, glutathione, and other supportive nutrients for people who don’t need a full IV. In addition to these vitamins, we have anti-nausea medications (Zofran) and pain relief (Toradol). One of our biggest injections sellers is the Miracle Shot. It has this name for a reason – this shot is for those with arthritic and chronic inflammatory pain. My mom takes it for her back pain, and she absolutely swears to it. She states that it is much better than cortisone shots and lasts longer. One to try out for people suffering chronic pain, that meet the doctor’s criteria.”
They are all about helping people feel better. “In addition to wellness services, we also offer aesthetic treatments, including Botox (neurotoxin) and dermal fillers, focused on natural-looking results that help you feel refreshed and confident, never overdone. Our approach is centered around enhancing what you already have.”

Building this business together has been incredibly meaningful, and we’re proud to offer services that reflect both our nursing values and our belief that wellness should be for everyone!
When asked how this business came about Maddie said, “What really interested us was our experience as nurses and seeing the same pattern over and over again. In traditional healthcare, we often meet people when they’re already overwhelmed, exhausted, or dealing with preventable issues. It can feel reactive instead of proactive, and that’s something my mom and I both felt deeply. We wanted to be part of helping people take care of themselves before they reach that breaking point.”
How true is that, so many feel so helpless by the time they finish with medical procedures and get into a treatment program. Maddie added, “Doing this together as a mother and daughter made the idea even more special. We’ve shared a nursing mindset for years; caring for people, educating them, and making sure they feel safe and heard. Building a business together allowed us to bring those values into a space that feels more personal and less rushed than traditional healthcare settings.”
“We were also really motivated by accessibility. So many people assume wellness and aesthetics aren’t meant for them because of cost or intimidation. We’ve talked to countless people who say, ‘I wish I could do that, but it’s just too expensive.’ That never sat well with us. We wanted to create a place where high-quality care feels welcoming and realistic for everyday people, not just a luxury for a select few.”
It is wonderful to have this service in the heart of the Pawnee community. Maddie said they got started with Cold Iron Bodybuilding originally for business, but it evolved into something more. “Along the way, we became friends with (the owners) Tom and Emily (Aldrich), and both my husband and I got memberships at the gym. It didn’t take long before it started to feel like a second home. Not just a place to work out, but a community of people who genuinely care about their health and about each other. As those relationships grew, we were offered the opportunity to move into their front room, and it was truly an offer we couldn’t turn down. Cold Iron has been such an incredible home for us in the short time we’ve been open. We’re so grateful not only for the partnership, but also for the friendships and support that have come with it. At the core, we all share the same goal: helping people be the best versions of themselves; whether
that’s through fitness, recovery, wellness, or confidence.”
Located primarily at Cold Iron Bodybuilding, Maddie added, “We also offer mobile appointments when needed. Being flexible and meeting people where they are is important to us, and it’s a big part of how we care for our clients.”
At the end of the day, it’s about helping people feel better in their bodies, more confident in themselves, and more supported in their health journey. Getting to do that together as a family, while serving our community, has been incredibly fulfilling and is what continues to drive us every day.
Locals, Maddie and her mom were both born and raised in Rochester and come from a very close-knit family.” Working alongside my mom every day has been incredibly special and honestly something I don’t take for granted. We share the same values: hard work, caring for people, and staying grounded in our community, so building a business together has felt very natural.”
Maddie has her own family too. “I’m married, and my husband Riley Butcher has been an amazing support through all of this. Early on, we moved to Texas thinking we needed a bigger lifestyle and a change of scenery. But once we were pregnant with our first child, we quickly realized that big city life wasn’t for us. We missed family, familiarity, and that sense of community you just don’t get everywhere. That’s when we decided to come back home to Illinois, and it ended up being one of the best decisions we’ve made. Between growing a family and growing a business, it’s been a full season of life. I joke that I’ve only not been pregnant for about three months during this entire journey.”
She added, “I just had a baby in May of 2025, and I’m having another baby in May of 2026.”
Motherhood suits her. “Our girls are amazing, and they’re such a big part of why I do what I do. I love that they get to see their mom building something she’s truly passionate about. I try to include them when I can, and my oldest notices; she asks questions, watches everything, and takes it all in. Being able to raise our kids close to family, serve the community that raised us, and build something meaningful together is an experience I’m deeply grateful for.”
Pawnee has opened The IVy Collection with open arms. “One thing I’d really want the Pawnee community to know is how grateful we are for the support we’ve already received. Opening a small, nurse-owned business in a close-knit town is a big step, and the trust and encouragement we’ve felt has meant everything to us. We don’t take that lightly. The IVy Collective is truly community driven. We’re local, family-owned, and nurse-led, and safety, education, and quality care are always our top priorities. At the same time, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve and better serve our clients. This business is evolving, and we want it to grow alongside the needs of the people we
care for.”
“We genuinely want our community to feel comfortable telling us what they’d like to see offered, what would be helpful for them, and how we can better serve Pawnee as a whole. Whether it’s a service, an event, or something new we haven’t thought of yet, we’re always open to feedback and conversation. Most importantly, we’re here for everyone. You don’t have to be an athlete, a bodybuilder, or someone who’s already into wellness to walk through our doors. If you’re tired, run-down, busy, or just curious, you’re welcome here. We’re proud to call Pawnee home, and we’re excited to keep growing within this community!”
